I'm on my way or should I shoot my feet? Or I don't think any I think you should sing I'm on my way. No. You sing. That's your bet remember last night when we were watching American Idol, you said you could sing like that? Which one? Remember last night, that girl, you said she's a good singer. I can sing like that. I'm on my way from misery to happiness today. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. Uh-huh. My way. She's in Nashville. That might not be what everyone should be singing. Snashay. She wants to say, hey, now. You're an all star. It's a game of No. Snashay. Shit. Wait. Why are we singing all these songs? Is it is it because they're on Shrek? Wait. Is Shrek your favorite movie, or is it Beauty and the Beast or the Grinch? You know what? She's a thing for green people. Shrek and the Grinch are her two favorite movies. Is Shrek and the Grinch your two favorite movies? Why do you like mean green people? Why are you obsessed with mean green people? Hey. Sit up. I remember the first time we watched Shrek, and you said, why is he so mean to all those people? Alright. Are you are you done with this podcast? Yeah. You know what? I didn't think about that. You could have told everybody what your favorite food is. What's your favorite food? Pancakes. Pancakes. What about waffles? Waffles. Like donkey. And but, what's your favorite place to go eat? Taste of India. Taste of India. Yeah. What do you get there? Virgin. Butter chicken. What's your favorite snack?

Praying because it's just talking to god, and we can all do that. But so I was like, how do you get good at praying? And she said, you know, I just say what I'm really thinking. And I don't fake it. And she said, I also I just use my own voice when I talk. I don't use, like, a sweet Jesus voice. I don't use a premier voice. I just talk to god. And I will say it's so interesting that shifted something in me, and I will tell you, I think, probably, since that day, 20 something years ago, I've had hundreds of people ask me, like, how are you good at praying? Wow. How do you do that? And same with, like, communicating or ministry or teaching her even parenting and My advice is always the same. I just use my real voice. Yes. I just I just say what I'm thinking. I just say what I'm feeling. I talked to god in my normal voice. And so, again, it's kinda spiritual, but it's also really been kinda strategic in my life that anytime something feels really hard or difficult or insurmountable, I just do it the most honest way I can, and that usually seems to help. I love that. That is such a good piece of advice. And it's so true that We we tend to have this temptation to put on this, like, spiritual voice or spiritual sounding voice. And, actually, my mom always says this, like, we'll we do this podcast together, and we'll have, like, messy conversations. And she'll be like, okay. I don't, like, we we sound to, like, women's ministry, like, because there is like a women's ministry voice that sometimes you accidentally get into whenever you start talking about a certain topic or you're in a podcast setting or you're talking about a book, And it's so refreshing, actually hearing your content, even I noticed that in the podcast that you just speak so relatable And I love that. I love that so much, and it's such an encouragement to people listening that if you do any form of street, or even just in your workspace, don't fake it or put on a voice to match what you think the setting's supposed to be. Like, that's why our home message live original, be who you are, in every setting and god made you who you are to fully be, who you are in him in those places. So what a great

Given. No pressure. Oh my gosh. Oh, I should have prepared for this because I know you ask all your guests that question. And I'm having pregnancy brain, so I'm like Oh, that happens. That's real. Yep. Oh my gosh. You know, the funny thing is about pregnancy brain is I think it just stays with you and then becomes mom brain, and you just thoughts just go. Yes. Well, if we need to circle back and you wanna say it at the end, you can, or I can just put you on the spot and the first thing that comes to your mind. Okay. First thing that comes to my mind, no. I think it's because I'm pregnant right now, so it's going straight to being a mom. And I would just say that every child's different, so don't count on other people's parenting. It's good to seek wisdom in their parenting advice and all that, but you'll know your child best. You'll know everything they need because I truly believe that God gives us that gift as mothers is to be able to know how to pour into our child's life even though it's so scary. So just to trust your own instincts and not depend on the world to give you all the answers to how to be a mom. That is honestly so good, and I'm glad we put you on the spot and made you say the first thing that comes to your mind because that is so true. I think that I always tell my friends that because I used to have that, like, anxiousness, you know, about being a mom and, like, making all the right decisions based off of what I've heard and the methods and the this and the that. And then it's, like, so stressful, and you don't wanna make their own decision, all this stuff. And then I just had this revelation at one point that's so simple but so profound that I am their mom. God made me to be their mom. He created me to be their mom, and he's equipped me to be their mom. So I have everything in me through him that I need to be the best mom to them that

To, like, the world and all these amazing people that I feel like have shaped him. You can become a really cool team. You know? So I feel like, I feel like it was in there, but something had to bring it out. And I feel like Clay and and the timing of all the things in our lives, the way that things lined up, brought that creativity out. So with Long Beard, I was working full time. Clay was traveling, and I still had 2 children at home. So he kind of commissioned a friend to help us with long beard. And, we kind of put together a color palette, a theme, a vision board type thing. And our friend Heather Land, helped us curate that. And and it's she's amazing. If you know her or have ever been in her home, it's just very eclectic. And, that's what we wanted. We wanted something cool that didn't feel like you were in Monroe. You know? And we just said, if it doesn't turn out to be a great Airbnb, then we have a cool extension of this home, you know, which ended up later being our own home. So, that was fun. And we got to put the final touches really on that. And we've we move furniture all the time, and we change things up. And and, and then I think just the hospitality part of it is where I felt like we really zoned in on that first before we created our 2nd Airbnb, which is where I think my confidence for creating something really was boosted because we we did it all by ourselves. That one's called Monroe Mojave. It's like a little desert oasis. Y'all have to come stay in that one too. Well, I get to see it. We haven't stayed in it, but I was like, it literally feels like we're in Cabo right now, and we're in Monroe. Yes. That's we're we're always like, you know, mission accomplished whenever somebody says that. So, yeah, as far as hospitality goes, I didn't realize that so many things in my life through the years were really leading me to this

There are giants among us, and their impact is huge. They are the men and women building and sustaining our navy's next generation submarines. They are giants in what they do because they work in a place where they can grow. Where they can learn the skills to build careers as powerful as the beasts they forage. If you're ready to go big, get on board. We build giants at buildsubmarines.com. What's up, WODES, good fam? Happy Wednesday, everybody. I hope you're having a good week. Per usual, it's about to get literally so much better because you have no idea. Y'all are about to be so hyped. I'm sure you already saw on the name of this podcast who we have on, but it's everyone's best friends from afar. We have Angie and Ari from Girls Gone Bible. Welcome to the Will Let's Go podcast. Oh, Sadie, we are so grateful to be here. I just told you off camera a second ago that coming on Woah. That's good is a rite of passage. We're so grateful and we're so excited. I know. I met you at the If Gathering and I told Angela, I go, I feel like I just met an angel. Actually, I'm not kidding. We talked about it probably for a week afterwards. Sweetie's special. You're so sweet. So many people, but you are so special. And it's you know you're special just watching you, and we've been watching you for a long time, loving you, adoring you, looking up to you for a long time. But then meeting you in person, like, you are so special. You really are. So pure and just such an example for this generation, this young generation. Gosh. That's so sweet. Y'all are the best, truly. That means so much. And it's so funny because the feeling was mutual. I just got in the car with my husband, and I said, they are, like, the best. I feel like like, those are the type of people I told them. Those
